To make our name plaque, we started by using a track saw and chop saw to cut ourselves a 12"x5" piece of wood to use for this project. I then used the instructions given to make the project. The instructions helped me make my name, the borders, and the tool paths so I was ready to cut. To cut my piece, I put my file on the CNC computer, and then used the GCODE to cut my part. Before cutting, we needed to zero the x, y, and z so the computer knew where our wood piece began. After that, I proceeded to cut.
