About Me

I am driven to create by my love of design. I’ve always had a passion for understanding how things function, and my passion continues to grow as my knowledge of the world increases. Even as a young boy, I would terrify my parents by running up to trains and looking under them to see how they were able to glide so smoothly across the tracks. I was introduced to robotics in the fifth grade, and have participated in it every year since then. Outside of robotics, I love to work on projects that benefit the community. I also enjoy innovating and reinventing systems to make them more efficient. To have a positive impact on the environment, many of my high school projects have been powered by solar and battery power, including a solar charged battery pack, electric go-kart, and electric train. For my engineering capstone project, I’m currently working with a friend on building and programming a robot that can play the bass guitar. We hope this robot will help people who cannot play the bass to compose/play music with a bassline.
